It happened to us

The other day John was telling me about a co-worker of his with a severely disabled son. His son is off the charts autistic and he struggles with that every day. John went on to talk about how hard it must be for this poor father to have to deal with the fact that his son will never attend a regular school, never get a real job, and most likely never marry and have children. We both sat there for awhile. And that is when John hit the hammer on the nail.

A Catch all

I have been waiting to post because I want to post a first birthday update for Keaton. I fear that if I wait, I may never post again. I just don’t have the time to sit down and write all the wonderful things he deserves. I will make time as soon as humanly possible. My blog has been lagging lately and I hate that. I really need to make an effort to keep it updated just for my boys sake. I don’t scrapbook or have a baby book for them. This is my record of their lives and I have been slacking hardcore lately.

Happy First Birthday Keaton!

Happy Birthday Keaton! I can hardly believe it has been one whole year since you came into our world. For your first birthday we were in California visiting Auntie Beck’s family. We were lucky that Grandma could come out and Auntie Kara and cousin Maddie! For your party we had an egg hunt because it was just five days before easter. You weren’t very interested in hunting eggs, but you did like to to open them once they were in your bucket.
