The smartest car in the world

We have a very smart car; dare I say the smartest car in the world? It was expensive back in the day before we bought it used. So it has every feature imaginable to mankind, including the optional third row seating (we can seat up to 7 that means we can have 5 kids). Well the car has developed this new characteristic where it will lock all the car doors even when you don’t want them to be locked. Well unaware that of this new feature, I left the car running with Gavin in it while I ran to grab something out of the house. I was gone no kidding 15 seconds. I come back, and guess what? You guessed it right; all the car doors were locked with the keys and my baby inside.

How cute is this?

Proof2

I ordered this card through "Creative-Echoes". Echo designed this and did such a great job (for the lowest cost I could find anywhere on the internet. Not to mention the most awesome design for the lowest cost). I can’t wait until the cards come so I can show them off to family and friends. If any of you all are looking for some really cute cards of any kind, check her out, she does SUCH great work! Thanks Echo!!!

The Gavi Style

Dsc_1652_abercrombie

I have gotten a lot of emails and comments about how cute Gavi’s clothes (especially his hats). Since I suck at responding to emails and comments (as everyone should be aware of by now), I just decided to post and let you all know how I go about "collecting". Also some different ways to save.

Help Motoki!

A friend of mine directed me to a blog that is simply amazing. Motoki was born 15 weeks early and weighed just a little over 14oz! He is now 6 months old and doing very well. However, he is requiring a surgery that his insurance won’t cover. His insurance is claiming that it is cosmetic. There is no way that what he needs done is cosmetic. It’s just cruel that they aren’t covering it. You can read about the surgery he needs here.

His mom is taking donations to help pay for this surgery. Right now she has taken her donate button down because some people don’t believe her story. I spent 2 hours reading the entire life story of this miracle child, and it makes me sick that people would second guess her. I keep thinking, "what if this was my Gavi that needed this surgery?" You better believe I would be asking every stranger on the street to help. So go lend your support to her and her family! They need $35,000 within 6 months. So do whatever you can to help. Even if you only have a dollar, it will help. Please post her link on your site if you can, we need to get as many people as we can involved! If anyone is interested in donating, please post on her site and let her know. Even if it’s just a dollar it is still going to help! Thanks for reading.

50% Angel, 50% devil, but really more like 65% devil, 20% tired, 11% cranky, and 4% totally pissed off…

50angel50devil

Gavin has been horrible. He has been crying on and off and on and off for nearly a week now. I am talking the kid was up every half hour at night. He had a sore throat, congestion, constipation, and on top of it all he is teething. So you can imagine what it was like at our house. I was on the verge of going crazy, the kind of crazy where you start pulling out your hair, gouging out your owns eyes, and running down the street naked screaming "I WILL NEVER USE AN ENEMA AGAIN" crazy. Yes ladies and gentleman, it was honest to god THAT bad.

Filling up my Wednesday’s

Although I really like working in the office on Wednesdays, I get really so bored. Everyone on our team is scheduled to work on Wednesday, so it’s slow. To add to that I am using a laptop here because my work computer is at home. So I have none of my fun stuff on it.

Ba Da Da Da Da DAAAA!! Super Goo!!

I bet you didn’t know that he’s a part time super hero…

He’s on a roll

Gavin has FINALLY learned to roll. His method is to keep both hands in his mouth and just wiggle until he is on his side. Sometimes he’ll go all the way, but usually he just likes to stay on his side. I am still going to say it’s rolling over though, because he’ll do belly to side and back to side. That is talent.

A year ago today…

I saw that oh so significant second line that forever changed my life. Nine months to the day later, Gavin was born, and today he celebrates his 4 month birthday. This month instead of writing a little "what is Gav up to" letter, I have made this:

4 months in the making
